Recipe: Spinach Papaya Salad

January 17th, 2010 by Dorota Zuzanna

Mmmm, ever since I first made this salad, I’ve been making it a lot and I love it! It’s super easy to make, it’s crunchy, it’s juicy and it tastes great… here it is!

Spinach Papaya Salad

  • 2-3 cups baby spinach
  • 1/2 papaya
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • handful sunflower sprouts (or any other kind)

Cut each baby tomato in half. Chop the papaya, strawberries and cucumber. Mix in with the spinach and sunflower sprouts. Now enjoy!

Raw Superwoman’s Top Tips

I buy a large container of pre-washed baby spinach every week for extra convenience. Then when I’m hungry and it’s time to make a salad, I just grab a few handfuls and it’s ready to go. The more convenient something is, the more likely you are going to do it.

Feel free to leave this salad ‘marinating’ in the juice from the papaya for a few hours or even over night… it gives the salad more papaya flavor in every bite.

Have fun and enjoy! :)
